This is our go-to date night getaway hotel in Southern Indiana. It's an older hotel but it's always clean and affordable. The view from the balcony views over downtown Madison and the river is breathtaking and relaxing. We always get a jacuzzi room and it's great for the price.
When you first walk in it smells so good. It welcomes you in and the lady who checked us in yesterday was very nice. I didn't get her name but her husband is retired from the Army.. She was so nice and so sweet. I really did appreciate her customer service and my dad is also retired Army veteran. I was told her name is Kimberly. She talked, smile the whole time while checking in.. Friendly face
Great mattress! Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful. Private balcony with view of bridge, river, Main street. Steep drive was easy to navigate, plenty of parking with shade from August sun. The view is probably even more fabulous in the Fall.
Had a pleasant stay! The room was clean, the front desk staff were attentive and welcoming, and the balcony views were lovely. Great location as well, it’s less than a 5 minute drive down the road to several cute restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Madison.
This is such a cool place!! We loved it. The old history the spectacular view. The town of Madison is beautiful. We were down there riding our motorcycles and tge only thing I can say is the driveway up to it is scary on a bike!! Definitely going back in December and next year getting room 304!! The staff us knowledgeable and so friendly & helpful. The balcony is to die for. Just sit and chill and see the whole town, the bridge that goes right to Kentucky. It's a must to stay there¡
Great location minutes from town. Room was spacious, clean but really warm, we had to open the window to cool it down.
The staff was great and rooms were nice, continental breakfast was average and good. I'd like to see the front door entrance cleaned up and Ditch the ashtray by the door and smokers bench needs to go. It's unpleasant walking up to the entrance and smelling cigarettes. Ice machine needs repaired. Vent above the shower is open and kinda creepy . Great location with a short walk to downtown and beautiful balcony view.
We stayed two nights for appointments in the area. The room was clean and comfy. Very private and nice balcony view. The front desk woman when we arrived was so nice and welcomed us even though we were late checking in. It was nice to be able to return to our room knowing we could relax in a nice hotel. If there was a downside it would be that the air conditioning did not keep our room very cool and the tub in the shower needed safety strips as it was very slippery. Overall our stay was nice and we will stay again some day. Front desk Tom was very nice as were all staff. Highly recommend.
